WE ARE THEREFORE CONSTRAINED TO CALL FOR OUR PHASE 678 CHAPTER ELECTIONS ON SEPTEMBER 17 OF THIS MONTH – THAT IS, TEN DAYS FROM NOW.

We know this announcement is rather abrupt, but we have no choice. The only alternative is a forced crossover through October 1 into a holdover capacity of your current Board – which is neither fair nor right. No matter how short the time, we can make this work.

For this matter, we are posting the final IRR, as specially approved by the Board today, for everyone to read, reread, and understand to guide our collective electoral exercise.

WE ARE ALSO INVITING ALL MEMBERS WHO MAY WISH TO SERVE IN OUR CHAPTER BOARD AS DIRECTORS AND/OR OFFICERS TO FILE THEIR CANDIDACIES STARTING 10 SEPTEMBER. We expect to have at least 15 names of worthy and dependable members and draw from the top 9 who would serve as our next set of Chapter leaders and managers.

WE ALSO NEED TO SELECT, VOTE FOR AND FIELD THE BEST REPRESENTATIVE TO THE AFPOVAI BOARD WHO WOULD RESOLUTELY FIGHT FOR AND ADVANCE OUR CHAPTER INTERESTS. Thank God, Sir Gene Senga has responded to our call. When I first mentioned his name during our Board Meeting several weeks ago, Commodore Suratos was quick to have Gigi place a call on him to get his commitment. For this matter, let us all unite and vote for him for our single, solid and resonant voice at the AFPOVAI Board.

For a while we were seriously concerned that we would get disenfranchised and that the right to exercise our free choice would not be given enough space.

Now we have just been given the green light. While it came at the shortest of all notices, it was granted to us, nonetheless. Hence, let us not waste this opportunity to gear up for our long delayed take off. Let us all prepare to attend our General Assembly/Annual Membership Meeting on the 17th of September 2022.

AND WITHIN SUCH MEETING, LET US SEIZE THE MOMENT BY VOTING THE RIGHT CANDIDATES, INCLUDING THE INCUMBENT DIRECTORS AND OFFICERS, AND MORE, INTO THE RIGHT POSITIONS FOR OUR PHASE 678 CHAPTER.

I ALMOST FORGOT. LET US ALSO MAKE OUR VOTES COUNT BY FIRST MAKING EVERY ONE COUNT… AS A MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING. No matter how short time remains for any of us to settle our annual dues, we can still pay up if only to make a difference. The amount is not much; it’s just a mere P1,200 in a year or P3,600 in 3 years, the cost equivalent of a golf round. But it is priceless in the value and weight of our votes in solidarity.

We currently stand strong at 110 MIGS. But that is less than one-third of our strength in this viber community and less than one-fifth of our full power as Phase 678 Chapter lot owners. If we want to send our best man to the AFPOVAI Board to represent us and/or push our agenda through with the best Board of Directors and set of officers for our Chapter, let us shore up our numbers. One time, big time.
