17 January 2023, from Budge Madamba
Hi Georgee! I am an 84-year old retired Navy and I don’t think we have met. We do share, however, certain circumstances in life so I can understand how you feel. I have acquired my TCT many years ago waited to take physical possession of my lot. And kept waiting.
To this date, all I can show are payment records to AFPOVAI and Taguig City. That is OK and I have no regrets. I am not even blaming anyone. It just so happened that my application of about four (4) decades ago and by the subsequent lottery ended with a lot in Ph678 (which essentially circumscribed later by the PN Golf Club).
Lucky or not, I waited patiently while colleagues in other phases began constructing their own homes. I was truly happy for them! I did hope that our area would soon be opened and released to those already granted with TCTs. After almost some thirty (30) years in retirement and still waiting, I continue to hope. I realize only too well that there remains a lot to be done. The thing is – I hold NO bitterness or rancour in my heart.
In my sunset years, I want to be free from stress, from the burden of problems and issues whose solutions have yet to be achieved by unified purpose and collective effort. Under present and perhaps future conditions, we have no choice but stand and move together.
In the end, our desired status is quite simple – we in Ph678 have all our TCTs, are current with our respective financial obligations, are agreed and on track with a master development plan, ready to engage with a chosen developer but MOST IMPORTANT, THE NAVY HAS DELIVERED AND VACATED THE ENTIRE PROPERTY TO US. And that, I envision, is still a long way to go. Even my dear friend and loyal underclass Ardy Abaya understands that. So my advice?
Take it easy. Budge Madamba

Thanks for your kind understanding, Georgee. Our Ph678 will prevail if we stick together. God bless.
